Its been a month!

Its been a month of working indoors for our guys. The HVAC, the plumbing and the electrical folks have been putting in their respective pieces.  The inside is still lacking walls, floors, a broom, etc but it is now clearer what the rooms will look like and how big they will be. (perhaps not so much in these photos...)  The holes in the floors have been boarded up so it is easier to go in and check things out.

The beginning of a front porch--aha, so that's how we get to the front door!

This was the old storage section of the basement, it will now be the Greg Music Studio

Temporary stairs now enable us to go up and down from the basement to the upstairs without having to go outside into the mud pit

unclear what this is a photo of.

The window of our eat in? i think? the ceiling of the eat in is two stories.

a view of the fireplace that I have to replace and design. am thinking tan brick with a wooden mantel

temporary stairs going from main floor to upstairs

I am pretty excited about the temporary stairs, as you can see.

This is looking up from the eat in to the upstairs. hard to tell what it is but its the balcony? ledge? that you can peer down from if you are upstairs, to see the eat in.

My Romeo and Juliet balcony--bc i'm too lazy to go downstairs and open the door to check the weather. yup, its true. That is the reason why I asked for this. That and I want Greg to throw pebbles at my window and climb a rose vine or something.

This is a picture of the electrical wiring to show Greg that we will, as requested, have his/her lights reading lights over our beds.  This was a "Greg Must"

master shower .

This is where there will be lights on the ceiling of the main stairway. Just a reminder to select lighting for this area.

same as above.

a photo of our new porch from inside the house.

This USED to be the stairs going down to the basement. now it is a curiously shaped closet that could probably only be used as storage.

A picture of our new entryway--without the bathroom at front and with wider opening to the dining room--taken from dining, looking into the living room

the view as you walk into the house--looking straight through to the eat in

downstairs guest bathroom

new kitchen-a view of prep sink and stove

basement bathroom, I think.

my new mud room

an area under the stairs (at basement) where I'd like to figure out how to make useful for storage

a view of the porch from the driveway

our architect and I joke that the little piece of wood at the left under the bricks is the only thing holding up the house.

a view of the master shower and looking through to the new office--which was the old master bedroom
